There is a significant piece of legislation that was passed this last session in health/med mal law called the Colorado Candor Act. Mark Fogg and Sean Gelsey will present on the Colorado Candor Act as to the benefits for your client and things to consider about the Candor process. We would discuss some of the history leading up to the Act, how it can be used to the client’s benefit, what issues need to be addressed and how COPIC and other carriers are approaching its use.
Effective statute date is July 1.
