Attendees will be provided with an overview of the Colorado Open Records Act (“CORA”) and the Colorado Criminal Justice Records Act (“CCJRA”), along with case law examples demonstrating how to identify and analyze various documents and requests under each Act. The objective of the presentation is to inform litigants about this “transactional” legal tool, and provide suggestions for effective use in private practice.
