DU Law Fall 2008 Recruiting Season The University of Denver Sturm College of Law cordially invites you to participate in the Fall 2008 recruiting season. In today's increasingly globalized world with its ever-changing laws, a comprehensive legal education demands a healthy dose of practical experience. DU Law has long been ahead of the curve in providing students with opportunities to learn outside of the classroom, emphasizing writing and practical training, and providing a dynamic, rigorous curriculum. Above all, DU Law is committed to educating market ready lawyers. DU Law is a top 100 law school with nationally ranked programs in Environmental and Natural Resources Law and Tax Law. Our Fall 2007 entering class was one of the most culturally and geographically diverse in the law school's history. We encourage you to meet our students face-to-face this fall through On-Campus Interviews, or through our other two recruiting options - Application Collection or Direct Applications. Our On-Campus Interview program involves an online collection of student applications for specific firms/organizations and positions. These applications are made available to employers, who then determine which students to interview on a set date in the University of Denver Sturm College of Law building. Campus Interviews will begin on September 2, 2008. For employers who cannot come to campus, the Application Collection process involves collecting student resumes for firms/organizations and then sending these to them in one bundle. During the Direct Application process, students send applications directly to employers. This year, the registration for all three processes will take place online. For more information and to register for Fall 2008 Recruiting, visit the DU Law Career Development Center’s website: http://law.du.edu/index.php/career-development-center/employer-resources. To obtain the user name and password for registration, please contact the Career Development Center at 303.871.6124 or careerdevelopmentcenter@law.du.edu. We look forward to working with your office this fall to connect you with our exceptional students and meet your future hiring needs!
